Lima, March 25, 2022. Repsol provides partial advance payment of compensation to those affected. 1,335 people have received S/3,000 to mitigate the impact on their work activities, which has reduced their income.
In addition, more than 3,000 affected people have already signed their individual minutes in the spaces set up last week in Santa Rosa, Aucallama, Ventanilla, Ancon, and Chancay. All those affected, who have signed their corresponding minutes, will receive the compensation advance within 7 days.
The beneficiaries will receive S/3,000 as a partial advance to mitigate the impact on their work activities. They are part of the single census developed by the Peruvian government as part of the commitments signed between the company and the authorities on March 4. This list, prepared by INDECI and agreed with Repsol, involves a total of 5,593 people.
Repsol continues with its efforts to ensure that all affected groups receive their corresponding compensation advances of S/3,000.

The company will also coordinate with the affected groups to develop medium and long-term support plans, focusing on productive projects and diversification workshops for the affected economic sectors. Repsol will remain in continuous dialogue with the authorities and communities for the duration of this situation, in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, which have been integrated into the company’s internal policies since 2013.
