Based on a report published by the NGO OANNES in December 2022, “no hydrocarbons were observed on the surface of the stations during the collection of phytoplankton and zoo plankton samples; in addition, no hydrocarbons were observed at the beginning of the analysis and collection of benthic macroinvertebrates and fish.
