Elmer Emeric of Oil Spill Response is one of the experts in charge of rehabilitating and returning the coastline to its original state after the spill in Ventanilla, caused by an uncontrolled movement of the vessel Mare Doricum on January 15.
Emeric has been Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, Director of Port Security in Puerto Rico, and was part of the Deepwater Horizon efforts in multiple states such as Louisiana and Florida.
